Phlogopite Mica Tape for fire-resistant cable is an insulation material made of superior phlogopite mica paper, impregnated with high-quality silicone resin and backed with a reinforcing material, which can withstand high voltage and exceptionally high temperatures.
Phlogopite mica tape is the Most Popular cable protection insulator material. It has good resistance to fire, acid, and alkali, as well as to corona and radiation, and good softness and tensile strength, making it suitable for high-speed winding. A fire test shows that the wire and cable wrapped with phlogopite can withstand 90 minutes at 840℃ and 1000V without breakdown.
Phlogopite glass fibre mica tape is widely used in high-rise buildings, underground railways, large power stations, important industrial and mining enterprises, and other places related to fire safety and fire rescue, such as fire equipment, emergency guide lights, and other emergency facilities for the power supply and control lines.
