Phlogopite Mica Tape for fire-resistant cable is insulation material made of superior phlogopite mica paper, impregnated with high-quality silicon resin and backed with reinforcing material, which can resist high voltage and especially high temperature.

Phlogopite mica tape is the Most Popular cable protection insulator material. Phlogopite mica tape has good properties of fire resistance, acid and alkali resistance, corona resistance, and radiation resistance, and has good softness and tensile strength, suitable for high-speed winding. Fire test shows that the wire and cable wrapped with phlogopite can guarantee no breakdown for 90 minutes at a temperature of 840℃ and voltage of 1000V.

Phlogopite glass fiber mica tape is widely used in high-rise buildings, underground railways, large power stations and important industrial and mining enterprises, and other places related to fire safety and fire rescues, such as fire equipment and emergency guide lights and other emergency facilities of the power supply line and control line. Because of its low price, it is the first choice for fire-resistant cables.
